Triton: Growth In Streaming Sessions At Most Top 10 Rankers.


Seven of the top ten radio groups in Triton Digital’s Streaming Metrics Monthly Ranker posted increases in Average Active Sessions (AAS) in October (6am-12am, Mon.-Sun.).


Audacy saw the largest increase, up 5% month-over-month (90,562-95,712 AAS), and remains third overall in the monthly report.


As has been the norm in recent months, there is no change in the top ten rankers, with iHeartRadio remaining well-entrenched in first moving 390,838-400,519 AAS, a 2% bump from September. NPR Member stations remain in second and is relatively flat month-over-month (99,583-99,040), followed by Audacy and Cumulus Streaming Network, which is up nearly 3% from September (61,718-63,527 AAS). EMF remains in fifth despite seeing a 14% decrease in AAS (36,477-31,121.)


The bottom five include: Univision, up 2% in AAS since September; Beasley Broadcasting Corporate saw the second largest month-over-month increase, rising 4% from 27,047-28,381; Hubbard Broadcasting was up slightly (21,449-21,731 AAS); AccuRadio is down a bit (14,965-14,783); and Salem Communications rounds out the top ten, posting a 2% increase in AAS since September.


The iHeartMedia Network, which includes all iHeartMedia-owned streams and the streams related to network affiliations, is the only sales network reported by Triton Digital. The network moves 1,118,003-1,155,209 AAS, a 3% increase from September.
