Togethxr, iHeartMedia Launch Weekly Women’s Sports Podcast.

As women’s sports continue to draw record audiences and expand their cultural influence, Togethxr and iHeartMedia are launching a new weekly podcast aimed at capturing the momentum. The companies are set to debut “Everyone Watches Women’s Sports” on Thursday (July 9) as a weekly audio and video series distributed through iHeart Women’s Sports. The show will feature conversations with athletes, journalists, entertainers and other prominent voices shaping the rapidly growing women’s sports landscape.

The podcast will rotate among hosts including multimedia journalist Ari Chambers, Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles and Emmy-nominated comedian Sam Jay, with surprise guest appearances planned throughout its run.

Santa Monica-based Togethxr says the podcast is intended to become “the show of record for women’s sports fandom,” covering the headlines, debates and cultural moments driving the conversation around women’s athletics. The show takes its name from Togethxr’s trademarked “Everyone Watches Women’s Sports” slogan, which has evolved from a marketing campaign into the centerpiece of the company’s brand.

“‘Everyone Watches Women’s Sports’ isn’t just a show; it’s a statement that started as a slogan and became a movement,” says Kati Fernandez, Chief Content Officer at Togethxr. “This is Togethxr at its fullest: the athletes, the voices, the conversations that define this era of women’s sports. We couldn’t have a better partner than iHeart Women’s Sports to bring it to the world.”

Launched in 2024 as a partnership between iHeartMedia and Deep Blue Sports + Entertainment, iHeart Women’s Sports has been looking to level the playing field in media attention. The company has pledged that 50% of all newly produced sports podcasts will focus on women’s sports coverage, a strategy that aligns with Togethxr’s mission of increasing the visibility of female athletes and leagues.

“Both iHeart Women’s Sports and Togethxr are setting the standard for high-quality coverage and storytelling in women’s sports — delivering the insight, access and cultural relevance that fans expect and deserve,” says Jessie Katz, Head of iHeart Women’s Sports. “This partnership allows us to combine the strength of two of the most influential players in the space to amplify the voices that drive women’s sports coverage even further.”

New episodes of “Everyone Watches Women’s Sports” will be released every Thursday beginning July 9 on the iHeartRadio app and all major podcast platforms. Video editions will also be available on YouTube through the Everyone Watches Women’s Sports and Togethxr channels. The series is distributed by iHeartPodcasts in collaboration with Deep Blue Sports + Entertainment.
