
Only 5% of US adults say they use a live audio service like Clubhouse or Twitter Spaces on a daily basis, according to Morning Consult in its State of Media and Entertainment Report. An additional 17% use these services either weekly (8%) or monthly (9%), leaving about three-quarters (77%) who have never used one. Not surprisingly, social audio services – described as “where consumers broadcast their audio-only conversations to the public in real time” – are more popular among youth.
