On Air Fest is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a lineup of prominent podcast personalities and live recordings when the audio and storytelling festival returns to Brooklyn Feb. 23–25, 2027. Megan Rapinoe, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Audie Cornish, Ari Shapiro and Dan Harris are among the first wave of talent announced for the three-day event, which will also host the Podcast Business Summit and the Ambies awards.

The 2027 festival will operate under the theme “10 Years On,” revisiting the people, ideas and formats that have shaped On Air Fest while looking ahead to the next phase of audio and multimedia storytelling. Organizers have also introduced the “On Air 100,” highlighting 100 people, ideas and trends that have influenced listening culture and the festival’s history.

The anniversary edition will bring together podcast creators, media executives, musicians and audiences to celebrate a decade of audio storytelling while exploring where the industry is heading next.

Among the highlights are live tapings of “Why Are You Like This” with Rapinoe, CNN’s “Chasing Life” with Gupta and “10% Happier” with Harris. CNN’s “Engagement Party” with Cornish and Shapiro will also record live, following the show’s preview at last year’s festival.

Other scheduled appearances include music critic Anthony Fantano and Sam Sanders of “The Sam Sanders Show.”

The lineup also draws heavily from public radio. WNYC’s “On the Media,” hosted by Brooke Gladstone and Micah Loewinger, will record a live episode, as will WXPN’s “World Café” with Raina Douris.

Additional participants include Diallo Riddle and Luxxury of “One Song” and Josh Dean of “Chameleon.” Leon Neyfakh and Sayre Quevedo will discuss narrative podcasting in a conversation centered on “Death of an Artist” and “Reaching Out.” Actor and comedian Connor Ratliff will host a main stage.

The festival opens Tuesday, Feb. 23, with the Podcast Business Summit, presented in partnership with Bloomberg at the Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg. The invitation-only gathering will bring together executives and industry leaders from podcasting, advertising, technology, publishing and media to discuss the business of audio.

The Ambies, presented by The Podcast Academy, will return to On Air Fest for the second consecutive year. The awards ceremony is scheduled for the evening of Feb. 23 at Arlo Williamsburg, across the street from the summit venue. Submissions for the awards are now open.

Public festival events begin Wednesday, Feb. 24, with industry discussions and creative sessions, followed by a festival party. The event concludes Thursday with additional live shows and performances. Tickets are on sale, with general admission, premium and VIP packages available at a 40% early-bird discount through Nov. 16.
