A new advertising campaign from the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration about the dangers of speeding has made the federal agency the biggest gainer in the latest Media Monitors list of top radio advertisers.
The campaign, “Speeding Catches Up With You,” launched last week, will run through the end of this month. An accompanying $9.5 million national media buy features English- and Spanish-language ads for TV, radio, and digital platforms, the NHTSA said.
The NHTSA’s 29,118 spots for the week of July 8-14 lifted the agency from No. 39 to No. 9 on the latest list. T-Mobile (31,705), No. 8 on the latest list, was also a big gainer, up from No. 39 the previous week.
Meanwhile, three devoted radio advertisers — Progressive, Lowe’s and The Home Depot — occupied the top three spots on the latest list.
For the week of July 8-14, 2024, the top ten on the Media Monitors radio advertiser list includes Progressive, Lowe’s, The Home Depot, Babbel, Wendy’s, Grainger, Discover, T-Mobile, NHTSA and Allstate.
