It’s A New York Return For DJ Prostyle, Via iHeart’s WKTU.

DJ Prostyle returns to the New York City airwaves via iHeartMedia rhythmic CHR WKTU (103.5). Prostyle served as MD and midday host at co-owned urban contemporary “Power 105.1” WWPR-FM for ten years before returning to his Florida radio roots in 2021 to host afternoons at iHeartMedia’s urban contemporary “95.7 The Beat” WBTP Tampa and “104.5 The Beat” Orlando, which broadcasts on the Altamonte Springs, FL-licensed translator W283AN at 104.5 with programming originating on WTKS-HD2.

“DJ Prostyle is an incredibly unique talent,” PD Chris Conley said in a release. “His deep knowledge of music and his connection with New Yorkers will be a huge hit for our listeners and clients alike.”

DJ Prostyle succeeds “Lulu y Lala,” the twin sister night show hosted by Mariana ‘Lulu’ Gonzalez and Marissa ‘Lala’ Gonzalez, which was discontinued last month.

“To say I’m excited would be an understatement. I’ve always had a deep passion for all types of music, and the fact that I will now be able to provide that on a platform like KTU is an absolute blessing!” Prostyle added. “I am looking forward to this next chapter in my career and ready to bring that energy and party to the Tristate area every night! Thank you to [Executive VP of Programming] Thea Mitchem, Chris Conley, and my entire iHeartRadio family for always believing in me and giving me this opportunity.”

DJ Prostyle will continue his role on the Florida stations from a New York base.
