FOX Sports and iHeartMedia announced a partnership that will bring live English-language audio coverage of every FIFA World Cup 2026 match to radio and streaming audiences across the U.S.
Under the agreement, FOX Sports’ television commentary for all 104 tournament matches will air on iHeartMedia’s Fox Sports Radio stations and stream through the iHeartRadio app beginning with the opening match June 11 and continuing through the championship match July 19.
Coverage will be available through a dedicated FIFA World Cup 2026 channel on the iHeartRadio app, which is available on more than 500 platforms and 2,000 devices.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be staged across 16 host cities in the U.S., Canada and Mexico and will feature 48 teams competing in 104 matches, the largest tournament format in the event’s history.
“With the biggest FIFA World Cup in tournament history right around the corner and taking place across the country, we’re excited to work with iHeartMedia to extend our FOX Sports match commentary even further through the #1 audio company in America,” Bill Wanger, Executive VP and Head of Programming and Scheduling for FOX Sports, says in a news release.
“This summer’s World Cup will be the biggest yet, with more teams than ever competing as the U.S. Men’s National Team takes the global stage on home soil, and we’re thrilled to partner with FOX Sports to bring this monumental tournament to our combined audiences,” says Tom Poleman, Chief Programming Officer for iHeartMedia. “This partnership allows us to deliver complete, live coverage at an unprecedented scale, reaching fans wherever they are — at home, in the car or on the go — and connecting them to the passion and unforgettable moments of the World Cup.”
The U.S. Men’s National Team opens Group D play June 12 against Paraguay in Los Angeles. The team is also scheduled to face Australia on June 19 in Seattle and Türkiye on June 25. FOX said all U.S. group-stage matches will include extended coverage and air on the FOX broadcast network.
In addition to live match coverage, iHeartMedia said listeners will have access to soccer-focused podcasts hosted by personalities including Ashlyn Harris, Javier Hernández, Jorge Ramos, Sarah Spain and Tab Ramos.
FOX Sports will televise all 104 matches of FIFA World Cup 2026, with 70 airing on FOX and 34 on FS1. The tournament opens June 11 with Mexico facing South Africa in Mexico City following a two-hour pregame show on FOX.
