Former Ad Agency CEO Mainardo de Nardis Joins Ad Results Media Board.

Mainardo de Nardis, the former CEO of OMD Worldwide and Aegis Media, has joined the board of Ad Results Media. The Houston advertising and marketing agency has become a big supporter of podcasts and audio overall. CEO Marshall Williams said de Nardis not only has “unparalleled industry experience” but also “strong global relationships that will allow us to greatly expand our presence locally and around the world.”

Ad Results Media said the appointment of de Nardis will help the company grow its services and technology suite, including its push for pixel-based measurement and attribution solutions. It said de Nardis would also help with the development of Ad Results Media’s proprietary data, analytics, ad grading, trafficking and ad quality assurance platforms. That growth will be fueled in part by an investment made in the company last December by Shamrock Capital, a Los Angeles-based investment firm.

“I’m very excited to join the board of Ad Results Media to help write the next chapter of their successful journey across voice marketing, which is quickly becoming one of the fastest growing new platforms,” de Nardis said in a statement. “Starting from recorded audio content such as podcasts — already a billion-dollar business in the U.S. and a market which Ad Results Media currently leads — earning the right to remain at the forefront of the industry, across sonic branding and voice search optimization, audio websites and voice commerce. Every brand needs a voice strategy, and Ad Results Media is one of the key players leading the way.”

Before joining the Ad Results Media board, de Nardis was the CEO of Aegis Media from 2006 to 2009. He then moved to OMD Worldwide, where he was the Executive Vice Chairman of Omnicom Media Group from 2009 to 2018. Since leaving OMD de Nardis has made investments in new-generation businesses in travel, health, and wine and spirits while serving on several other company boards.
