The Florida Association of Broadcasters has named Caroline Beasley and Jeannie Blaylock as the 2026 inductees into the Florida Broadcasters Hall of Fame, recognizing their long-standing contributions to radio and television in the state.
The two will be formally inducted during the 2026 Florida Broadcasters Hall of Fame Gala and Awards Ceremony, scheduled for June 18 at The Breakers Palm Beach.
The Hall of Fame honors individuals whose careers have made a lasting impact on Florida’s broadcasting industry, with eligibility requiring at least 25 years of service and a strong professional connection to the state. Inductees are recognized for leadership, innovation, integrity and service to both the industry and their communities.
FAB President and CEO Pat Roberts said the 2026 honorees exemplify those standards.
“Caroline Beasley and Jeannie Blaylock represent the very best of Florida broadcasting,” Roberts said. “Their careers reflect exceptional leadership, professionalism, and a deep commitment to serving their communities. We are proud to recognize their extraordinary contributions and to celebrate the lasting impact they have had on broadcasting in our state.”
Beasley, Chief Executive Officer of Beasley Media Group, has led the company through a period of transformation while continuing a family legacy in radio ownership and operations. Under her leadership, the company has expanded its digital footprint while maintaining a strong presence in key radio markets, including several in Florida.
Blaylock, a longtime anchor at First Coast News, is widely recognized for her community-focused journalism and on-air presence in the Jacksonville market. Her career has been marked by a consistent emphasis on local storytelling and public service.
According to FAB, Hall of Fame inductees are selected from nominations submitted by current and former employees of member stations, with final honorees chosen by a selection committee representing broadcasters across the state.
