Callie Luttman To Receive MIW Behind The Mic Mentorship.

Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio (MIW) has named Callie Luttman, morning show host at Saga Communications’ “Mix 94.5” WLRW in Champaign-Urbana, IL, as the recipient of its 2026 Behind the Mic Mentorship.

The year-long program provides women in radio with one-on-one mentoring from senior industry leaders in programming, talent development, audience growth and brand strategy. Luttman also will have the opportunity to attend the 2027 NAB Show in Las Vegas for additional professional development and networking.

Luttman brings experience across on-air broadcasting, music programming and community affairs. Before becoming solo morning host at “Mix 94.5,” she spent four years co-hosting “The Tommy and Callie Morning Show.” She also hosts afternoon drive on “97.9 The Vibe” WLRW-HD2/W250BL, where she oversees music programming.

Additionally, Luttman hosts “Focus,” a weekly public affairs program airing across all seven Saga/Illini Media Group stations. The program addresses community issues and resources, including domestic violence prevention, food and hygiene insecurity, and support for veterans and first responders.

Her responsibilities also include event planning, community outreach and local initiatives throughout the Champaign-Urbana area. Luttman began her broadcasting career at “Hit Mix 88.9” WEIU and Cromwell Radio Group.

“Callie represents the kind of talent this mentorship was created to support,” said MIW Board Member Leslie Scott. Scott cited Luttman’s range of on-air roles, programming responsibilities and community involvement, adding that the organization aims to help her expand her skills and advance her career.
