Audacy Taps Super Bowl MVP Von Miller For Weekly Podcast, Mixing Sports and Culture.

ree

Two-time Super Bowl champion, Super Bowl MVP, and legendary NFL linebacker Von Miller has become a regular in front of Audacy microphones. He is a weekly guest on “The Sports Junkies” on “106.7 The Fan” WJFK and “The Team 980” WTEM in Washington, appearing every Tuesday to talk Commanders. Now he will get his own show. Miller will launch the “Free Range” podcast via Audacy this week.

Each week on “Free Range,” Miller will break down the biggest football stories, dive into the world of sports and entertainment with athletes, artists, and trendsetters shaping the conversation. Audacy says it will be equal parts football IQ, locker room energy, and cultural curiosity. Miller will also share inside nuggets about his beloved chicken farm, Greener Pastures.

“‘Free Range’ is exactly what it sounds like — no fences, no limits,” said Miller in the announcement. “We’ll go deep on the game, but we’ll also talk about life, culture, and what drives people to be great.”

Miller is no stranger to podcasting. In 2022, he launched “The Voncast” working with The Bleacher Report. It also featured him speaking with fellow players, but it focused on their off-the-field passions.

“Von Miller’s larger-than-life personality and effortless charm have made him one of the most beloved figures in football. He exudes equal parts confidence, charisma, and competitive fire, and we can’t wait to see what he does on ‘Free Range,” said Leah Reis-Dennis, Head of Podcasts at Audacy. “As Audacy continues to cement our leadership position in sports audio, we’re thrilled to welcome Von to the family and to have this incredible offering covering football and so much more for listeners and advertisers.”

“Free Range with Von Miller” will launch on Wednesday (Nov. 5) on all podcast apps as well as on YouTube. New episodes will be released weekly on Wednesdays.

Miller first made sports headlines in college playing for Texas A&M and then being the second overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos. He went on to have a highly decorated NFL career, winning two Super Bowls, being named Super Bowl MVP in 2016, and Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2011. He later joined the Buffalo Bills in 2022. After he was cut by the team earlier this year, Miller signed a one-year contract with the Washington Commanders in July.
