Sean Hannity Addresses Health Concerns After Online Speculation Over Appearance.

Premiere Networks’ Sean Hannity addressed growing online speculation about his health Wednesday, after Fox News viewers raised concerns over his appearance during recent broadcasts.

In a post on the social platform X ahead of his weeknight primetime program, Hannity said the changes viewers noticed stem from a pinched nerve in his neck sustained during training, along with side effects from prescribed medication.

“Thanks to everyone who has checked in. I’ve already addressed this several times on my radio show, but while training, I developed a painful pinched nerve in my neck,” Hannity wrote, according to The Hill. “My doctor put me on prednisone to reduce the inflammation, and while it’s helping, it led to laryngitis and some puffiness, which is normal for this medication.”

Hannity said he is “fine, recovering well, and still training,” and noted that the attention surrounding his appearance has far outweighed the severity of the issue.

“A few weeks of prednisone has generated more social media commentary than 30 years of ratings success,” he wrote, adding that he appreciated “all the concern and well wishes—including from members of the left-wing media.”

He also dismissed critics who mocked his appearance online, saying, “Sorry to disappoint them, but a pinched nerve, a raspy voice, and a puffy face aren’t taking me out anytime soon.”

The comments come after social media users began circulating clips of Hannity, pointing out visible swelling in his face and neck. Among those weighing in was comedian Josh Johnson of “The Daily Show,” who joked about the speculation during a recent segment.

Hannity, 64, is one of Fox News’s longest-serving primetime hosts and a prominent conservative voice. In addition to his television program, he hosts a nationally syndicated radio show and recently launched a podcast that frequently features political allies of President Donald Trump and members of his administration.
