Following SiriusXM’s announced rebroadcast of 42 Audacy sports, news and talk stations beginning Sept. 1, the satcaster will also launch its new audio sports subscription package, “SiriusXM Sports Pass,” that same day, including Audacy’s 23 local sports stations as well as Good Karma Brands’ “710 ESPN” KSPN Los Angeles, along with 16 SiriusXM-exclusive channels and seven national sports networks.
The plan, which includes all sports play-by-play and live events carried by SiriusXM over hundreds of channels and podcasts — along with exclusive league programming and national sports voices — will be available to new U.S. subscribers for $5 per month or $49 per year.
“SiriusXM Sports Pass will keep fans connected to the teams, hometown voices and sports conversations they love by bringing together SiriusXM’s unmatched sports audio lineup into one low-priced subscription,” the company’s news release says. “The average U.S. sports fan spends six hours and 26 minutes a day listening to audio — over two hours more than the average American. SiriusXM Sports Pass is built for that always-on fan, bringing live games and the daily sports conversation together in one place, wherever they listen.”
In addition to Audacy’s and Good Karma’s 24 stations from 22 markets, the plan will include 16 exclusive SiriusXM sports channels including Mad Dog Sports Radio; NFL and NBA Radio, and MLB and NHL Network Radio; NASCAR Radio, INDYCAR Nation and F1; College Sports, ACC, Big Ten and SEC Radio; PGA TOUR Radio, FC soccer, WWE Radio and Fantasy Sports Radio. National sports media brands include ESPN Radio, Xtra and Podcasts; Fox Sports on SiriusXM, NBC Sports Radio, Westwood One Sports and VSiN.
SiriusXM’s complete sports programming lineup — which will now include the 23 local Audacy sports stations and “ESPN LA 710,” as of Sept. 1 — will continue to be available in its most popular subscription plans.
“Every new channel, artist performance, live event, and creator collaboration advances our vision for the future of audio: making SiriusXM a home for fandom, where listeners can go deeper into the things they love and feel part of a lasting community,” SiriusXM CEO Jennifer Witz says. “SiriusXM Sports Pass brings that vision to life for sports fans by putting every game and event we carry, hometown voices, national personalities and the daily sports conversation into one simple, affordable subscription. No matter who you cheer for or where you listen, it brings you closer to the teams and voices that matter most to you.”
