Adult contemporary, classic hits, CHR, hot AC, all news, Spanish Tropical, and one format that defies categorization are all part of Inside Radio’s TOP 10 ranking of all stations in PPM markets, based on cume delivery of persons 6+ during Nielsen’s fall 2024 and winter 2025 waves.
Leading the pack is the same station that did so during the last such ranking, based on spring and summer 2024 cumes: iHeartMedia AC “106.7 Lite FM” WLTW New York, boasting a 3.61 million cume, up from 3.56 million for spring-summer. Since June 2022, Lite has been New York’s No. 1 for all but three surveys — Sept.-Nov. 2022 — as it aims for a 34th straight win in next week’s June PPMs.
iHeart takes up half of the real estate in the top 10, with two more ACs — sixth-ranked KOST (103.5) Los Angeles, posting a 2.09 million cume, and eighth-place “Sunny 99.1” KODA Houston, at 1.87 million — along with third-ranked CHR “Z100” WHTZ New York (2.37 million), and in fourth, WKTU (103.5) New York, with its unique mix of current upbeat hits and rhythm-based classics (2.36 million).

Audacy claims four of the top 10, two of those its classic hits outlets on either end of the U.S.: WCBS-FM (101.1) New York, finishing second with a 2.41 million cume, and seventh-place “K-Earth 101” KRTH L.A. at 2.15 million. Ranking fourth is Audacy’s New York hot AC, WNEW (102.7), at 2.15 million, and in ninth is all-news WINS-AM/FM (1010/92.3) New York, with a 1.76 million cume.
Coming in 10th, as it did in the spring-summer ranking, is SBS Spanish tropical “Mega 97.9” WSKQ New York, the only Spanish-language station in the top 10, delivering a 1.68 million cume.
