Your Next Podcast Review Could Help Feed The Displaced Of Ukraine.

Writer: Inside Audio MarketingInside Audio Marketing

World Central Kitchen, the global hunger action group founded by celebrity chef José Andrés, has been on the ground in Europe for weeks helping feed people displaced by the war in Ukraine. So far it has served more than one million meals to those in need. Now podcasters are stepping up to help support World Central Kitchen.

Podchaser says throughout the month of April, it will donate 25-cents to the organization for every show review left on its platform. But that donation will double to 50-cents every time a podcaster replies to the review. It is part of Podchaser’s annual #Reviews4Good campaign, now in its third year.

In a spirit of giving, six podcast companies are also joining the effort and agreeing to match Podchaser’s donations. They include --

  • Alitu is matching donations for all podcasts

  • Buzzsprout is matching donations for all Buzzsprout hosted podcasts

  • Captivate is matching donations for all Captivate hosted podcasts

  • Libsyn is matching donations for all Libsyn hosted podcasts

  • Player.FM and Podkicker are matching donations for all podcasts

  • Spreaker is matching donations for all Spreaker hosted podcasts

In addition, four companies -- including Apollo, Headliner, Podcast Guru and Squadcast -- have also signed on as promotional partners.

Podchaser has previously raised money for Meals on Wheels America’s Go Further Fund as part of its annual #Reviews4Good campaign.
