Townsquare Media is launching a morning drive version of its “Taste Of Country” franchise in four markets today (March 13). “Taste of Country Mornings,” hosted by Nicole Taylor and Matt Wood from Townsquare’s Nashville studio, is airing on “Lone Star 92” KNFM Midland-Odessa, TX; KEKB Grand Junction, CO (99.9); “US 104.9” KIIK DeWitt-Quad Cities, IA; and “Y95 Country” KCGY Laramie, WY.
The four-hour show can also be heard on the Taste of Country website and app. Show highlights will also be available across all social platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and X/Twitter.
"Our Nashville family is growing," Townsquare Media VP of Country Music Programming and Content Doug Montgomery said in a release. "This pair has chemistry that you can't manufacture, and this will be a fun, new destination for morning listeners. Wood and Nicole will pop up on ‘Taste of Country Nights,’ and Evan [Paul] will be a regular visitor to the morning show. Likewise, our great local hosts like Clay Moden (WYRK Buffalo), Ginny Brophey (WOKQ Portsmouth) and others will stop in to say hi. I'm so excited to build this new show with the entire team."
Taylor is one third of Nashville-based social media influencers and music group Taylor Red, with nearly 13 million followers on TikTok and 12.8 million across their other social platforms. Wood is the former morning show co-host at Leighton Enterprises “Wild Country 99” KZPK St. Cloud, MN. While the daily morning show will be new to “Taste of Country,” Wood and Nicole are already active members of the franchise, creating content regularly for the platform and sharing their unique perspectives on Taste of Country's YouTube channel.
The show joins “Taste of Country Nights,” syndicated by Compass Media Networks. Hosted by Paul, “Taste of Country Nights” can be heard on 133 affiliates nationwide.
