iHeartMedia Atlanta’s “Power 105.3” WWPW is shaking up mornings with the debut of “The Tino Cochino Morning Show,” premiering Monday, July 7. Hosted by Tino Cochino and his on-air crew—Serina, Nicasio, and Matt—the YEA Networks syndicated show is heard in more than 60 markets nationwide.
“We’re excited to welcome Tino Cochino and his team to Power 105.3 in Atlanta!” Jill Strada, Program Director and Executive Vice President of Programming, said in a release. “Tino brings a unique blend of culture, charisma, and authenticity that resonates with today’s diverse audience. His ability to connect across generations and backgrounds makes him and his team a perfect fit for Power 105.3.”
The CHR-formatted station has been running jockless in mornings since moving from 96.1 to its current 105.3 frequency, swapping dial positions with co-owned WRDG in April 2024. The remaining lineup includes Ryan Seacrest (10am-2pm), “The O-Show” (2-7pm), “Mikey V, Frankie V & Gianna: The VBros” (7-11pm), and “The Hit List” (11pm-12am).
“Atlanta doesn’t just influence culture, it creates it. To have the opportunity to wake up a city this powerful is something I don’t take lightly,” Cochino commented. “We’re coming in with our own sound, our own energy, and a fresh perspective built on connection, conversation, and a sense of humor that belongs in your group chat. I’m grateful, I’m locked in, and I’m ready.”
