Audacy’s “The Bret Mega Show” is splitting its four-person team between two markets, with hosts Bret Mega and Anna “AB” Bohlmann relocating to a new city while Hannah Gibbs and Kevin Berghoff remain in St. Louis to provide local coverage.

The show announced the change in an Instagram post, saying Mega and Bohlmann will continue doing the program from their new location, while Gibbs and Berghoff will keep listeners updated on local news each morning. The program will continue airing on hot AC “Y98” KYKY St. Louis, although Mega said the show will “look a little different.”

Audacy’s “Star 94” WSTR is the expected destination of Mega and Bohlmann, and the new flagship station of the program. The station has been without a permanent morning show since Kevin Avery and Taylor Scott departed in August.

Mega previously worked in Atlanta, co-hosting mornings with Scotty Kay on iHeartMedia CHR “Power 96.1” WWPW before leaving in February 2016.

Audacy launched Mega’s morning show on “Y98” in April 2021 and began expanding its distribution in 2024. The program currently also airs on Audacy’s “New 96.5” WTDY-FM Philadelphia, “99.7 The Point” KZPT Kansas City and “105.3 The Buzz” KFBZ Wichita, KS.

The relocation comes as Audacy moves toward selling its six-station St. Louis cluster, including “Y98,” to Hoffmann Media Group. The companies agreed to a $20 million sale in June.

In its social media announcement, the show thanked listeners for helping make the opportunity possible and indicated that further changes may be ahead. “One thing isn’t changing: we’re all still connected, still working together, and still here for YOU,” the post said, adding, “This is just the beginning.”
