Clue Awards nominees and winners are determined by an independent committee of industry professionals, including producers, network and streaming executives and other creatives, representing all sectors of the true crime genre. This year’s judges have not yet been finalized, but in 2024 the committee included high-level executives and acclaimed creatives from companies including NBCU, Wondery, Simon & Schuster, Investigation Discovery, Campfire Studios, National Center for Victims of Crime and Law&Crime Network, among others.

The awards ceremony will be held Sept. 6 in Denver, as part of the annual CrimeCon event. Actor and hip-hip legend Ice-T is set to host the ceremony. He has true crime cred, having starred in “Law & Order SVU” for the past 25 years.
