Survey: Ad-Skipping Not A Big Threat To Politicians Using Podcast Ads.


Political advertising for the 2024 election cycle is already pacing ahead of what was spent four years ago, and podcasters have a good story to tell candidates looking to use audio as a way to reach voters. Nearly three in four podcast consumers say they listen to ads from political candidates all the way through on a routine basis. The survey by Veritonic says a majority (55%) say they listen to political commercials half of the time.
