Stugotz Launches Podcast Network In iHeart Deal.

Jon “Stugotz” Weiner is making his biggest move yet in podcasting, signing a long-term, multiplatform deal with iHeartMedia that puts podcast growth at the center of the partnership. The agreement immediately launches the Stugotz Podcast Network with iHeartPodcasts, anchored by his established shows “Stugotz and Company” and “God Bless Football.”

The network will roll out additional original sports talk programming, with distribution across the iHeartRadio app, all major podcast platforms and Stugotz’s YouTube channel. For iHeart, the deal adds another personality-driven network aimed at scaling both audio and video podcast audiences.

The podcast expansion is paired with a new weekday national radio show that effectively serves as a live extension of Stugotz’s podcast brand. Beginning in January, Stugotz will host a 3–5 p.m. ET program on FOX Sports Radio, airing on more than 270 stations nationwide and streaming on iHeartRadio and FOXSportsRadio.com. The show is designed to mirror the tone and structure of his podcasts, blending sports talk, humor and freewheeling commentary with a rotating group of co-hosts and guests.

Stugotz said the deciding factor in the deal was finding a partner capable of growing his existing podcasts while helping him build a broader network. He pointed to iHeart’s scale and promotional reach as critical to turning his podcast operation into a larger platform rather than a collection of individual shows.

FOX Sports Radio executives framed the radio show as a complementary piece rather than the centerpiece, positioning it as another funnel into Stugotz’s on-demand content. The combination underscores iHeart’s strategy of using broadcast radio to amplify podcast brands, while using podcasts and video to extend talent beyond traditional airwaves.

The result is a deal that leans less on legacy radio alone and more on building a multi-show podcast ecosystem around a proven sports personality.
