VSiN, the sports betting media network, is adding to its podcast lineup with Long Shots, a podcast about wagering on PGA Golf. The show is produced in a partnership with the iHeartPodcast Network and is hosted by Brady Kannon and Wes Reynolds. With pro golf one of the first sports to come back after the COVID-19 shutdowns, VSiN says the podcast will appeal not just to golf junkies, but betting fans who are looking for a new sport to play.
Kannon has been running Las Vegas golf websites and tournaments since 1996 and tracks the game year-round so he can provide up-to-date information on every player, tournament and course during the PGA Tour season. Reynolds is a VSiN sports betting expert. VSiN says the hosts and their guests will explain their strategies for betting on tournaments and individual golfers to help listeners improve their golf betting IQ.
Long Shots is an expansion of VSiN’s partnership with iHeart. The two companies already produced the Best Bets podcast, which offers daily sports betting highlights from the 24-7 sports betting news network. The two companies also announced in February that they would create content around the now-completed XFL season.
Founded in 2017, VSiN (Vegas Stats & Information Network) targets the 100 million current or potential future sports bettors in the U.S. with insight, analysis and proprietary data. Broadcasting from studios at the South Point Casino in Las Vegas, it’s run by sportscaster Brent Musburger.
To date, 21 states have legalized sports betting and 21 more have active legislation on the docket.
