Sammi Tempesta Joins ‘Neon 93.1’ As APD/Afternoon Host.

iHeartMedia adult hits “Neon 93.1” KYMT Las Vegas has named Sammi Tempesta afternoon host and Assistant Program Director.

In her new position, Tempesta will handle weekday afternoon drive duties from 3-7pm while also supporting programming operations as APD. She will report to MoJoe Roberts, Senior Vice President for iHeartMedia Las Vegas.

Tempesta, who is married to market veteran Shawn Tempesta, most recently served as Music Director, Production Director and afternoon host at Beasley Media Group crosstown hot AC hot AC KVGS (102.7) using the on-air name of Sammi Reeves. She exited the station in August 2024. She began her career in late 2020 as a part-time board operator at the station before moving into full-time on-air and music responsibilities. A graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, she has built her career entirely within the Las Vegas radio market.
