Salem Media Group is making what it calls its “boldest move yet” with a landmark partnership that brings Donald Trump Jr. and Lara Trump into the fold as stakeholders, content creators, and strategic collaborators. The multi-faceted deal expands Salem’s footprint across digital, podcasting, and mobile platforms—further solidifying its role as a key player in conservative media.
Under the agreement, Salem has acquired a 30% equity stake in MxM News, a mobile news aggregation app co-founded by Donald Trump Jr. The company also signed a long-term services deal with Trump Jr., who will help drive audience and revenue growth initiatives. He also becomes a significant stakeholder in Salem.
“Salem Media is positioned to become the home for fearless, unapologetic conservative content,” Trump Jr. said in a release. “I’m excited to help grow its audience and commercial footprint.”
Lara Trump also joins as a stakeholder and will collaborate on podcast development, digital expansion, and advertiser partnerships. In addition, she has renewed her exclusive podcast deal with the Salem Podcast Network, where she will continue producing and hosting her current show.
“Conservatives are hungry for media that reflects their values, faith, freedom, and family,” she said. “I believe in what Salem is building.”
Salem Media CEO David Santrella says the partnerships are both strategic and symbolic. “These aren’t just partnerships, they’re power moves,” he said. “Donald Trump Jr. and Lara Trump bring credibility, energy, and the kind of megaphone that moves markets and shapes public opinion.”
The company says these latest agreements mark a shift into a “new era of scale, relevance, and cultural power,” as Salem continues to expand beyond traditional broadcast into a multi-platform conservative media ecosystem.
