RAB To Honor Liberty Mutual At 35th Annual Radio Mercury Awards.

The RAB has announced that Liberty Mutual Insurance will receive the 2026 Radio Marketer of the Year award during the 35th annual Radio Mercury Awards on June 3 at SONY Hall in New York City.

The award, presented annually as part of the Radio Mercury Awards, recognizes brands that demonstrate leadership and effectiveness through radio and audio marketing to build brand awareness, connect with audiences and drive business performance.

Liberty Mutual was selected in part for its long-running “Liberty, Liberty, Liberty” audio signature, which has become a widely recognized element of the insurer’s advertising across broadcast radio, streaming audio, podcasts and connected audio platforms.

According to the RAB, the company has also distinguished itself through an integrated audio marketing strategy that combines radio with other digital audio platforms while maintaining consistent creative messaging.

“Liberty Mutual exemplifies what today’s most effective marketers understand — that audio is one of the most powerful ways to create connection, build trust and drive action,” Mike Hulvey, President and CEO of RAB and chair of the Radio Creative Fund, says in a news release. “From its unmistakable sonic branding to its strategic commitment across radio, streaming and podcasts, Liberty Mutual has built a brand voice that is instantly known and highly effective. Their thoughtful use of radio at scale makes them a deserving recipient of this year’s Radio Marketer of the Year.”

Jenna Lebel, Liberty Mutual CMO for U.S. retail markets, said the recognition reflects the company’s broader audio strategy. “We’re honored to be recognized by RAB as the 2026 Radio Marketer of the Year,” Lebel says. “Audio has been a powerful part of how we build a brand that is distinctive and memorable, and how we drive recognition and trust with consumers. This honor reflects the tireless work of our team and partners.”

The 2026 Radio Mercury Awards marks the competition’s 35th anniversary. Produced by the RAB and governed by the Radio Creative Fund, the awards program recognizes creative achievement in radio and audio advertising.

Winners will be announced during the June 3 ceremony, which will be hosted by nationally syndicated iHeartRadio personality Angela Yee, host of “Way Up with Angela Yee.”

Sponsors for the event include Hubbard Radio, Bonneville International, Katz Radio Group, Nueva Network, Xperi, Audacy, Cox Media Group, iHeartRadio, Nielsen, Skyview Networks, Triton Digital, Urban One, Zimmer Radio & Marketing Group and Auditory FX.
