Podscribe Adds Radio Verification, Attribution To Measurement Menu.

Podscribe has launched new capabilities intended to provide a clearer picture of radio’s impact in ad campaigns. Dubbed Radio Measurement Capabilities, the new solution is designed to bring digital-grade transparency and performance measurement to terrestrial and satellite radio advertising.

Podscribe provides pixel-based attribution, incrementality, and verification for podcast, streaming, CTV, and other hard-to-measure media channels.

Despite its position as the top reach medium, broadcast radio’s one-to-many analog architecture has long made it difficult for advertisers to connect exposure to outcomes. By comparison, digital advertising offers real-time visibility and clear attribution.

“Radio has always driven impact, but proving that impact hasn’t kept pace,” Podscribe’s Head of Partnerships Matt Drengler said in a news release. “We’re bringing a digital-looking, digital-feeling measurement layer to radio so advertisers can finally evaluate performance with the same confidence they have in their online channels.”

The system uses machine learning and Bayesian modeling, which updates the probability of a hypothesis or belief as more evidence or data becomes available. Podscribe says its approach provides a clearer, more accurate view of radio’s incremental impact — even across complex, multi-market campaigns.

Radio Measurement Capabilities is integrated with Media Monitors, which tracks spot occurrences, along with direct logs from audio publishers and agency-provided data.

Podscribe says it combines verification and performance measurement into a single workflow, giving advertisers both proof and performance insights. To verify spots ran as scheduled, Podscribe says its system listens to actual ad placements, confirms their timing, the radio stations where they aired, and the creative used. It also shared spot clips with stakeholders and spot checks campaigns, even before full measurement is enabled.

To measure attribution, Podscribe tracks add performance by DMA, station, genre, and other factors. It also compares the campaign’s conversion lift to baseline metrics, tracks for site visits, sign-ups, purchases, and app downloads. The service provides downloadable reports and automated exports.

Podscribe says it scales from single-market tests to national campaigns and works across all audio publishers and buying models.

Advertisers not ready to take the full attribution plunge can start with airchecks as a standalone solution, offering an immediate look into campaign delivery. Podscribe says this phased approach allows brands and agencies to validate placements first, then layer on performance measurement when ready.

Meanwhile, Podscribe has introduced a reporting enhancement that simplifies how advertisers analyze campaign performance. Dubbed Smart Columns, the new feature is said to automatically display only the most relevant metrics for each advertiser or campaign, eliminating the need for constant customization.
