iHeartMedia is teaming with the Empire State Building for a holiday-season spectacle in New York City, headlined by Grammy-winning vocal group Pentatonix and designed for both a live audience and a nationwide radio broadcast.
The companies announced the “iHeartRadio Holiday Pop Up Party with Pentatonix,” a special event hosted by AC “106.7 Lite FM” WLTW New York morning co-host Paul “Cubby” Bryant that will air across iHeartMedia stations nationwide on Dec. 19. The celebration includes a music-to-light show atop the Empire State Building, recently named New York City’s top attraction for the fourth straight year in Tripadvisor’s 2025 Travelers’ Choice Awards.
Pentatonix kicked off the event by flipping the iconic light switch, launching a synchronized light show set to their No. 1 holiday recording, “I’ve Got My Love To Keep Me Warm,” a duet with Frank Sinatra. The intimate gathering also featured a live performance, an interview with “Cubby” and a fan Q&A, held on the 80th floor of the Empire State Building Observatory.
A 10-minute special from the “Holiday Pop Up Party” will air Dec. 19 at 9pm local time on iHeartMedia’s all-Christmas music formatted stations nationwide, with a New York City broadcast time of 6:50pm (ET). The special will also stream on the iHeartChristmas Pop digital station at 9pm.
In addition, iHeartRadio’s New York stations “Z100” WHTZ, “103.5 KTU” WKTU, and “106.7 Lite FM” will play “I’ve Got My Love To Keep Me Warm” each night from Dec. 19-25 at 7pm, synced with the Empire State Building’s holiday light show.
