Premiere Networks/iHeartMedia-syndicated country radio morning host Bobby Bones adds another item to his ever-expanding resume. “Breaking Bobby Bones” is a new 16-part series from National Geographic, which will have the host traveling “to far-flung destinations across the country to find people with unique jobs, skills, hobbies, and abilities,” according to a release from the network.
“My new show was announced today at Disney upfronts,” Bones posted to Instagram along with a photo of the announcement. “Can’t wait to get going and for you to see this show that will entertain you, make you laugh and inspire the crap out of you.” A debut date for the series has not been announced.
In addition to hosting his nationally-syndicated morning show, Bones serves as VP, Creative Director at iHeartCountry; oversees the “Nashville Podcast Network” for iHeart; hosts the “Country Top 30” and “Women of iHeartCountry” weekend programs; hosts the annual iHeartCountry Festival; hosts and serves as an executive producer of “Opry” on the Circle Network; serves a Brand Ambassador for The General Insurance; serves as a mentor on “American Idol” on ABC-TV; was the winner of “Dancing With The Stars” on ABC-TV; judged the “2019 Miss America Competition” and is a best-selling author.
