NBA And NFL Pros Help Pod Digital Media Expand Its Multicultural Podcast Ad Network.

Pod Digital Media, the multicultural podcast rep firm, announced today it has added five new shows to its growing sales portfolio. The podcasts include the on-demand version of the syndicated radio show “Ebro in the Morning” as well as several shows targeting sports fans, including a new series hosted by former NBA player Kenyon Martin. Combined, Pod Digital Media says the podcasts have a combined audience reach of more than 600,000 weekly listeners.

“We’re excited to welcome new podcast shows to the Pod Digital Media this month,” said Gary Coichy, CEO and head of partnerships at Pod Digital Media. “COVID-19 created a challenging environment for advertisers to reach sports audiences and the addition of new top sports programs allows us to introduce their listeners to leading advertisers, build brand affinity and drive key metrics.”

The podcasts new to Pod Digital Media include –

  • Ebro in the Morning Podcast is the on-demand version of the Emmis rhythmic CHR “Hot 97” WQHT New York morning show hosted by Ibrahim “Ebro” Darden, Laura Stylez and Peter Rosenberg, who share their thoughts on everything from music, relationships, politics and more.

  • Neat & Unfiltered Podcast. Set to launch Nov. 5, this show is hosted by former NBA player Kenyon Martin.

  • Call to the Booth is a multi-platform podcast with five-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl Champion Aqib Talib and co-hosted by Harrison Sanford of Inside the Green Room with Danny Green. The duo discuss major NFL news, break down match-ups, conduct interviews with players, and feature a season-long fantasy football lineup.

  • Behind The Mask is hosted by NFL legend Takeo Spikes. In his latest series, Spikes expands upon the success of his book “Takeo Spikes presents Behind The Mask” with post-game analysis each week throughout the NFL regular and postseason. The show features many other pro athletes and celebrities discussing a wide range of topics, including fatherhood, relationships, business, social issues and untold personal stories.

  • Aaron Gordon’s Quest For Enlightenment is a podcast hosted by Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon. In the series he takes on his first podcast show discussing mental health, Eastern philosophy and the NBA. The professional basketball player serves as president of athlete acquisition for sports psychology app Lucid, and is now taking on the mic as a podcast host.
