iHeartMedia’s Danielle Monaro and Medha Gandhi, co-hosts of “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show,” will take the stage as hosts for the 2025 NAB Marconi Radio Awards, set for Oct. 21 at The Edison Ballroom—the night before NAB Show New York kicks off. Returning for the fourth consecutive year, DJ Scratch will serve as house DJ, bringing his signature energy to the industry’s biggest night.
“Danielle and Gandhi represent everything that makes local radio special — personality, authenticity and a genuine connection with their audiences,” NAB President and CEO Curtis LeGeyt said in a release.
Monaro, a longtime voice on the Premiere Networks syndicated morning show based at iHeartMedia CHR “Z100” WHTZ New York, is known for her pop culture segment, “Danielle Report,” and co-hosting “Elvis Duran’s After Party” podcast. Gandhi brings a global perspective and quick wit, hosting her podcast “Sauce on the Side” and recently completing a 2,500-mile charity road trip for Cookies for Kids’ Cancer.
Scratch, a two-time World Champion DJ and Grammy winner, has a career spanning three decades, including work with Run-D.M.C., Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and EPMD, as well as launching ScratchVision, his online DJ network.
Presenters this year include Adimu Colón (WDAS-FM), Mark “Hawkeye” Louis (KSCS-FM), Deja “Deja Vu” Parker (WBLS-FM), and Rachel Ryan (KSCS-FM).
This year’s Marconi Award finalists include a mix of industry icons and rising stars. In the “Legendary Station of the Year” category, nominees include WABC-AM and WCBS-FM in New York, WHLI-AM on Long Island, WLW-AM in Cincinnati, and WMMR-FM in Philadelphia.
