The 2022 Quill Podcast Awards have been handed out. The annual event celebrates podcasters and industry professionals for their production, innovation, and work to elevate the medium and industry. It awarded its Best Podcast of the Year prize to Mind Love, the Melissa Monte-hosted series about self-love. The People’s Choice Award went to Rooster Teeth’s true crime series Black Box Down. And the prize for Most Innovative Podcast went to the science series Preconceived hosted by ophthalmologist Zale Mednick.
Through a hybrid of a public nominations and a judging period by a panel of experts, the awards are given to companies and podcasts that have built strong audiences, innovated within their category, and created outstanding content.
