The list of radio’s biggest advertisers by spot count returned to a more familiar look for the week of Jan. 6-12, 2025.
After a brief respite from the top 10, major brands resumed their traditionally robust use of radio advertising. Progressive, with a play count of 78,389 spots, reclaimed its regular spot atop the list. The Home Depot (42,960) rose to fifth, followed by No. 6 eBay (41,649) and No. 7 T-Mobile (38,650). All those advertisers were absent from the top ten the prior week.
The return of those brands pushed several other advertisers — including Macy’s, Downy, Hims, Optima Tax Relief, Wesley Financial Group and Mattress Firm — down the list.
Wireless & Internet Services brand Upside, with 34,405 spots, jumped from No. 13 a week earlier to crack the top ten at No. 9.
For Jan. 6-12, 2025, the top advertisers on Media Monitors’ weekly list were Progressive, Vicks, Babbel, ZipRecruiter, The Home Depot, eBay, T-Mobile, Febreze, Upside, Discover.
