Martha Stewart’s iHeartPodcast Coming to Netflix.

Martha Stewart might call it a “good thing” as Netflix moves to bring video episodes of “The Martha Stewart Podcast” to its lineup. The series, which Stewart launched four years ago in a partnership with iHeartMedia, will serve as a companion to her existing “Martha Cooks” series that is also launching on Netflix, with episodes available beginning today (Aug. 25).

“I’m delighted to bring my podcast to Netflix, and with that, introduce the medium of video to the series,” Stewart says in a statement. “Netflix is the perfect partner to share and amplify the thoughtful and informative conversations the show is known for with an even greater audience.”

Full video episodes will be available to watch on Netflix. The series will also continue as an audio podcast distributed by iHeartPodcasts and available everywhere podcasts are heard.

Each week on the show, Stewart sits down with a unique mix of guests who inspire and intrigue her, including business icons, entrepreneurs, artisans, old friends and new. The podcast will launch on Netflix with an episode featuring entrepreneur, investor and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. Upcoming episodes will feature bestselling author Harlan Coben and music producer, artist, actor and author Benny Blanco.

“Martha is one of the most iconic and influential voices in media, with an extraordinary ability to connect with audiences,” says Will Pearson, President of iHeartPodcasts. “We’re thrilled to expand ‘The Martha Stewart Podcast’ to Netflix, giving even more people the opportunity to experience Martha’s signature curiosity, expertise and one-of-a-kind perspective through the candid conversations and insights that have made the podcast so compelling.”

The addition of “The Martha Stewart Podcast” on Netflix comes Wednesday (Aug. 26). It joins a growing slate of iHeartPodcasts available on Netflix as part of its exclusive video partnership with iHeartMedia.
