Kesha Takes On Podcasting With iHeart Show Focused On The Paranormal.

A musician talking about music? That has been done. But a pop star hosting a show about supernatural experiences, the occult, unexplained mysteries, urban legends, psychedelic art, spirituality and astrology? That is where Kesha, best known for her party tunes on top 40 radio, will break ground. She has teamed with the iHeartPodcast Network to launch “Kesha And The Creepies.”

On the show’s preview, Kesha – real name Kesha Rose Sebert – says her world is where “supernatural is quite natural” and her podcast will take listeners into it. “You may know me for my party jams like ‘Tik Tok’ and ‘We Are Who We Are,’ but it’s my curiosity for the unexplainable and the mystical that drives these fascinating conversations that span nontraditional spirituality, psychedelic art, and all things creepie,” she said. The first episode will feature rocker Alice Cooper, with other guests slated to appear in the first season including rap artist Trippie Redd, “Hollywood Medium” TV host Tyler Henry, and comedian-actress Whitney Cummings, among others.

“I have had so many experiences in this incarnation that I just can’t ignore or explain, and I’ve always been fascinated by supernatural subjects, the unexplainable, and people exploring alternative thought and lifestyles,” Kesha told Entertainment Weekly. “With my podcast, it's my excuse to shoot the shit with the people I’m most fascinated with, and dive deep into their brains and hear about all things creepy. The creepy and unexplainable is what keeps life magic...so let’s talk about it.”

“Kesha and the Creepies” will debut Nov. 20. New episodes will be released Fridays.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring a cultural icon like Kesha to the iHeartPodcast Network,” said Conal Byrne, President of the iHeartPodcast Network. “As an incredibly successful artist and entrepreneur, she’s known for pushing boundaries in the smartest ways. Through her eclectic conversations and imaginative storytelling, she reels listeners in with this podcast, fans are going to love it.”
