Kelley Blue Book Partners With iHeart On Vehicle Acquisition Program.

Kelley Blue Book has selected iHeartMedia’s Automotive Call Center to power its new Contact Center for Kelley Blue Book Instant Cash Offers. The new product helps dealers find and acquire used car inventory from private owners that are ready to sell. The iHeart auto call center will reach out to potential sellers to set appointments directly with the dealer to sell their car.

The Nashville-based 200-person iHeart auto call center works leads on the dealer’s behalf, using a prescribed follow-up process. For every lead, the call center begins a 90-day process that starts by contacting them with a personalized phone call within two minutes from offer generation to schedule an in-person appointment.

The companies say this will take the pressure off the dealer’s staff so they don’t have to do anything until the customer arrives at the dealership for their appointment so they can focus more on selling and acquiring cars.

At the end of each month, iHeart’s auto team delivers a directly attributable report so dealers can see the outcome of each call.

The new solution is an extension of iHeartMedia’s Owner Buy Back (OBB) product that the company says generated almost $50 million in gross revenue and a 20-to-one return on investment or dealers during 2021.

With new car inventories sorely depleted due to supply chain disruptions, dealers are aggressively looking for used cars to sell, increasing the timeliness of the Kelly Blue Book Instant Cash Offer product.The Cox Automotive owned service is used by dealers to source used car inventory from ready-to-sell vehicle owners while reducing their overhead to maximize their profitability.
