‘Keep Hope Alive’ Radio Show Lives On Under Santita Jackson.

Following the passing of Rev. Jesse L. Jackson last week, Premiere Networks announced today that the long-running national weekend show “Keep Hope Alive with Rev. Jesse Jackson” will continue under the leadership of the program’s executive producer and host Santita Jackson, the eldest daughter of Jackson.

For more than 20 years, Jackson — an American icon, international statesman, Baptist minister and leading civil rights advocate — has shared insights on news and current events through his national radio program “Keep Hope Alive with Reverend Jesse Jackson.” From Nelson Mandela to Michael Jackson, Jackson has interviewed some of the most influential figures in news, politics and entertainment.

As the program carries on in Jackson’s honor, Santita Jackson will continue to bring listeners the most powerful, poignant and timely conversations from the program’s two decade-long history, along with fresh commentary and new interviews from today’s headlines. The two-hour program broadcasts on Sundays from 8-10am (ET) in markets across the U.S., including Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, DC, Houston and more.

“We’re deeply saddened by the loss of Rev. Jesse Jackson, and it has been an honor to work with him and his family throughout the past two decades of his ‘Keep Hope Alive’ radio show,” said Julie Talbott, President of Premiere Networks. “Santita Jackson is uniquely positioned to carry forward his legacy and his unwavering commitment to community and social justice — values he championed so powerfully for listeners and stations across the country.”

Bob Pittman, Chairman and CEO of iHeartMedia, added: “Rev. Jackson has been a transformative voice in American life, and it was a privilege to work with him dating back to ‘The Jesse Jackson Show’ with Quincy Jones in the 1990s. We’ve valued our relationship with him over the years and look forward to celebrating his lasting impact on the national conversation and our culture — an influence that will continue to resonate for generations.”
