iHeartMedia is restructuring its sales organization, evolving the Multi-Market Partnerships Group into a new, more integrated business unit called the Enterprise Business Development Group. The move, announced in a memo from Chairman/CEO Bob Pittman and President/COO/CFO Rich Bressler, is aimed at aligning the company’s operating structure with emerging marketplace opportunities while building on recent sales successes.
Julie Donohue, who has led the Multi-Market Partnerships Group since its launch, has been elevated to President of the Enterprise Business Development Group. In her expanded role, Donohue will oversee the integration of Multi-Market Partnerships, Inside Sales, Unified Partnerships, and Political under one umbrella.
“Julie’s exceptional leadership and proven ability to identify and cultivate both new business opportunities and sales talent across the organization will enable us to better serve our partners, accelerate growth and unlock incremental opportunities at scale,” Pittman and Bressler wrote.
Donohue will collaborate closely with iHeart’s top sales and digital leadership, including Digital Audio Group CEO Conal Byrne, Chief Business Officer Lisa Coffey, and National and Markets Group executives Ann Marie Licata, Bernie Weiss, Paul Corvino, Carter Brokaw, Jenna Craig, and Adrienne Pabst, to ensure a coordinated sales approach across iHeartMedia’s portfolio.
The Enterprise Business Development Group will build on the success of programs such as Platinum+, Strategic Sales Initiatives, and the SDR program, which have helped drive new revenue streams and strengthen iHeart’s position in the marketplace.
