iHeartRadio Teams With Beach Football League In Multi-Platform Content Deal.

The Beach Football League (BFL), the emerging professional tackle football property played on sand, has inked a wide-ranging media partnership with iHeartRadio, naming the platform its Official Audio and Radio Partner for the 2026 season and beyond.

The agreement brings the full weight of iHeartMedia’s broadcast radio, digital audio, podcasting, social media, and live event infrastructure into the league’s growing national rollout. The partnership is designed to support promotion, athlete-driven storytelling, fan engagement initiatives, and on-site entertainment experiences tied to BFL events.

Founded by former NFL linebacker and Super Bowl champion Tully Banta-Cain, the BFL blends traditional tackle football with beachside festival elements, including live music, celebrity appearances, youth camps, and immersive fan activations.

“This partnership gives us the ability to grow the BFL nationally through the power of music, radio, digital media, and live experiences,” Banta-Cain said. “We’re building something completely unique that blends football, entertainment, and culture on the beach.”

The deal is already active alongside the league’s California-based launch events, including the Santa Cruz Beach Classic held May 16–17, and the upcoming Fiesta Hermosa Sunset Showdown scheduled for May 23.

The Santa Cruz event featured appearances from Marshawn Lynch and Deshaun Foster, a youth football camp, a drone show, and a halftime performance by Bay Area artist Goapele alongside Golden State Warriors DJ D Sharp.

The Fiesta Hermosa installment is set to feature NFL legends, live DJs, youth programming, and a halftime set from hip-hop group The Pharcyde, continuing the league’s hybrid sports-and-entertainment model.

Looking ahead, the partnership is expected to scale into 2027 as the BFL expands into additional destination events, including planned stops in New England over Labor Day weekend, Miami during Art Basel week, and Santa Monica around Super Bowl week tied to the 2027 Los Angeles Super Bowl.

Under the agreement, iHeartRadio branding and promotional support will be integrated across BFL radio campaigns, live event activations, digital advertising, social content, and entertainment programming as the league works to build national awareness.

The BFL continues to position itself as a new entrant in live sports entertainment, merging professional football, music, and festival culture into a single beachfront experience designed for both fans and sponsors.
