iHeartRadio and Ray-Ban have partner to offer consumers iHeart's complete menu of audio media choices on Ray-Ban's Meta glasses.
According to iHeartRadio's blog, iHeart's integration on the glasses is available to iOS and Android users in the U.S., and includes access to hundreds of live and local radio stations, curated playlists, artists, podcasts, and other audio options via accessible and seamless voice commands.
The integration makes iHeart the only audio app where listeners can stream live radio on the Ray-Ban Meta glasses and make hands-free voice requests for iHeart content using Meta AI.
To access the feature, consumers need to make sure their device and iHeart and Meta View apps are updated to the latest versions, connect their device to the glasses in the Meta View app, and open the iHeart app and select "Allow." Users are also able to set iHeart as the default app for music and radio from the iHeart page.
“These features further blend our love of live radio with digital streaming, offering a world of content hands free,” iHeart's blog says. “With music, podcasts and radio stations being a vital companion in our daily lives, iHeart and Ray-Ban Meta glasses make it easier than ever to tune in from wherever you are, whenever you’re listening.”
iHeart’s integration with Ray-Ban Meta glasses is the company’s latest product enhancement to simplify the listener experience, following the redesign of its iHeartRadio app in December 2024.
