iHeartRadio Lands Exclusive Audio Partnership With INTENNSE Tennis League.

INTENNSE is turning to iHeartMedia to help introduce its reimagined version of professional tennis to a national audience.

The startup co-ed tennis league announced a multi-platform partnership naming iHeartRadio the league’s official and exclusive audio partner as INTENNSE prepares for its 2026 season launch in Atlanta.

Under the agreement, iHeartMedia will promote the league across its broadcast radio stations, streaming platforms, podcasts, digital properties and live events. The deal also includes original INTENNSE-branded audio programming, player-focused storytelling content and promotional campaigns designed to build awareness for the emerging sports property.

The partnership gives INTENNSE access to the reach of the nation’s largest audio company as the league looks to establish itself with a new approach to professional tennis centered around team competition, co-ed play and shorter-form matches designed for modern sports audiences.

“Tennis has never had a product like ours: co-ed, team-based, fast-paced, and built for the moment we're living in,” INTENNSE CEO Charles Allen said in the announcement. “But a great product still needs to find its audience, and iHeart opens doors well beyond where we are today.”

INTENNSE plans to field 10 teams during its 2026 season, all based at Assembly Studios in Atlanta. The agreement also includes naming rights for the league’s practice facility, which will become the “iHeart Practice Court.”

iHeartMedia says the partnership aligns with its strategy of working with emerging sports and entertainment brands targeting younger audiences through multi-platform distribution.

“INTENNSE represents exactly the kind of bold, innovative sports property that resonates with the iHeart audience — co-ed, team-driven and built for the next generation of sports fans,” said Michael Biondo, President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships for iHeartMedia.

The companies say the partnership will include live-streamed segments from the iHeart Practice Court during select matches, digital campaigns aimed at driving tune-in and fan engagement, and on-site activations at INTENNSE events in Atlanta.

The deal is also structured as a long-term growth partnership as INTENNSE looks to expand beyond its Atlanta base. League executives say iHeartMedia’s local and national distribution infrastructure — spanning broadcast radio, podcasts, streaming audio and digital media — will help accelerate fan awareness as the league scales.

INTENNSE joins a growing list of emerging sports properties looking to leverage audio and podcast platforms to build audience engagement outside traditional television distribution models.

The league describes its format as a faster-paced alternative to traditional professional tennis, featuring simplified scoring and a more immersive fan experience designed to appeal to younger and more casual sports consumers.
