iHeartMedia Named Official Radio Partner Of USA Water Polo.

USA Water Polo has named iHeartMedia its Official Radio Partner in a new multi-platform marketing agreement designed to raise the profile of the sport, encourage grassroots participation and connect with new audiences as the countdown to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games continues.
The partnership gives USA Water Polo access to iHeartMedia's national network of broadcast radio stations and digital platforms to promote Team USA athletes, highlight the sport and support the organization's Try Water Polo initiative. Beginning this summer, iHeartMedia will air a nationwide promotional campaign encouraging families to explore the sport while sharing stories about its athletes and community.
The agreement also makes iHeartMedia the Official Radio Partner of the USA Water Polo Junior Olympics, the world's largest youth water polo tournament. The company will have a presence throughout the event with on-site activations, branding, digital content and promotions targeting the tens of thousands of athletes, coaches and spectators who attend annually.
"Water polo is entering an extraordinary moment in the United States, and we're excited to welcome iHeartMedia as a partner that understands the power of storytelling and audience engagement," USA Water Polo CEO Jamie Davis said. "Their unparalleled reach allows us to introduce the sport to new audiences, celebrate our athletes, and inspire the next generation to discover everything water polo has to offer."
“We’re proud to partner with USA Water Polo during such an exciting period for the sport,” said Michael Biondo, President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at iHeartMedia. “Together, we have an opportunity to introduce millions of listeners to an incredible community of athletes while encouraging participation and celebrating Team USA on the road to Los Angeles 2028.” The agreement takes effect immediately, with initial activations tied to the 2026 USA Water Polo Junior Olympics and the Senior National Team exhibition season.
