iHeartMedia Named Official Audio Media Partner Of USA Lacrosse.

USA Lacrosse has entered a partnership with iHeartMedia that makes the media group the organization’s Official Audio Media Partner as lacrosse builds momentum toward its return to the Olympic Games at the 2028 Los Angeles Games.
Under the agreement, iHeartMedia will support promotional campaigns for USA Lacrosse events and membership initiatives across its network of live radio stations, digital stations and podcasts. The partnership creates a new audio media category for USA Lacrosse and includes exclusive content opportunities around several of the sport’s major events and properties.
iHeartMedia will have opportunities to produce live and on-demand audio programming tied to USA Lacrosse, including content surrounding lacrosse’s return to the Olympic stage at LA28.
The company also will serve as presenting sponsor of several USA Lacrosse events, including The Atlas Cup, Brogden Cup and National Lacrosse Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
The agreement also gives iHeartMedia jersey branding rights for USA Lacrosse’s U.S. Youth National Teams. The 144 athletes on the boys’ and girls’ teams represent some of the top youth players in the country.
“This is the type of partnership our team at USA Lacrosse has been building toward,” said Will Blake, Vice President of Corporate Partnerships for USA Lacrosse. He said iHeartMedia is entering an audio category that had not previously existed within the sport and that the agreement reflects USA Lacrosse’s commercial growth.
Blake also highlighted the youth team jersey branding as a first for USA Lacrosse, calling it an investment in the next generation of players and fans.
“At iHeart, we're focused on connecting audiences with the sports, athletes and moments they care about most,” said Michael Biondo, President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at iHeartMedia. “As lacrosse continues its rapid growth and prepares for its return to the Olympic stage, we're excited to partner with USA Lacrosse to help expand the sport's reach, engage new fans and create unique opportunities for athletes, players and communities across the country.”
