iHeartMedia is bolstering its marketing leadership with the appointment of Jamie Cutburth as Executive Vice President of Marketing, a newly defined role aimed at sharpening the company’s go-to-market strategy and driving advertiser demand.
Cutburth will report to Lisa Coffey, Chief Business Officer, and will be responsible for aligning positioning, sales enablement, tentpole storytelling and cross-platform packaging across iHeart’s portfolio.
“As we continue to expand iHeart’s unique multi-platform footprint, we’re thrilled to welcome Jamie and his decades of expertise in driving meaningful success for blue chip media companies,” Coffey said in the announcement. “He will fit right in as our team continues to push innovative ideas at the leading edge of the industry.”
The newly created role places Cutburth at the intersection of brand, revenue and content strategy, with a focus on building a more unified and modern marketing engine as iHeartMedia continues to evolve its audio, digital and event platforms.
Cutburth joins the company from NBCUniversal, where he spent more than a decade and most recently served as EVP of Marketing & Brand Partnerships. In that role, he led B2B marketing and advertiser strategy across a wide portfolio that included Peacock, NBC News and Telemundo, along with entertainment brands and live events.
His work also included developing large-scale partnerships tied to marquee properties such as “Saturday Night Live,” “The Today Show” and the “People’s Choice Awards,” as well as experiential franchises like BravoCon and E!’s “Live from the Red Carpet.”
Earlier in his career, Cutburth held partnership roles at A+E Networks, working across brands including HISTORY and A&E.
“My role sits at the intersection between brand, revenue, content and culture, and will ensure that iHeart shows up in the market with a clear story and a modern marketing engine,” Cutburth said. “I am excited to bring my years of building successful partnerships and experiences to this team and to a company so clearly focused on innovation and growth.”
The hire comes as iHeartMedia continues to emphasize integrated marketing solutions that span broadcast radio, streaming audio, podcasts and live events — areas where the company is positioning itself as a one-stop shop for advertisers seeking scale and cross-platform reach.
