The iHeartCountry Festival returns to Austin on Saturday, May 7 with a star-studded lineup featuring Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood, Zac Brown Band, Maren Morris, Dustin Lynch, Jimmie Allen, Scotty McCreery, and Cody Johnson at the new Moody Center.
The ninth annual event will be hosted again by Premiere Networks syndicated country radio host Bobby Bones.
“Country music fans across the country look forward to the iHeartCountry Festival each and every year,” Executive VP of Programming for iHeartCountry Rod Phillips said in a release. “We are thrilled to have such an incredible lineup perform at this year’s show and are especially excited to bring our nationally-recognized event to the new Moody Center in Austin for the first time.”
The Moody Center is set to open this spring on the grounds of the former Frank Erwin center, home of previous iHeartCountry Festivals.
The concert will be broadcast live on iHeartMedia country-formatted stations and on the iHeartRadio platform beginning at 8pm (ET) on Saturday, May 7.
Last year’s event, which was held in October, featured performances from Blake Shelton, Toby Keith, Little Big Town, Jake Owen, Lee Brice, Carly Pearce, Cole Swindell, Chase Rice, Walker Hayes and surprise guest George Strait.
The festival is a part of iHeartMedia’s roster of signature events including the iHeartRadio Music Festival, iHeartRadio Music Awards, the nationwide iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour, iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina, iHeartRadio ALTer Ego, iHeartRadio Wango Tango and the iHeartRadio Podcast Awards.
