iHeart's Bobby Bones To Get Honorary Degree From University Of Arkansas.

The University of Arkansas will bestow an honorary degree upon one of its biggest fans next month. Syndicated radio host Bobby Bones will receive the honor during an all-university commencement ceremony Saturday, May 14, in Bud Walton Arena.
"Attending the University of Arkansas wasn’t within reach for me growing up, and I could have never imagined that something like this would ever happen," the Hot Springs, AR, said in a release. "I have always been a devoted, and maybe even obnoxious, Razorback fan and supporter. I’m thankful to everyone at the University of Arkansas, and just hope they don’t change their minds.”
Among Bones charitable endeavors — which includes raising $16.25 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital — is his work on behalf of The Razorback Foundation, where he is a major benefactor as a member of the “Cardinal and White,” the organization's major giving initiative to support student-athlete scholarships and other expenses.
