Marketing budgets are under pressure, reported to have fallen to just 7.7% share of total company revenues this year, down from more than 10% in 2019 and 2020. But things don’t look so bad for publicly traded companies in the US in terms of ad-to-sales ratios, according to a benchmark report from Schonfield & Associates.
