Hollywood Management Firm Elevate Entertainment Launches Podcast Division.

Elevate Entertainment, the boutique Hollywood management firm whose clients include Yellowstone co-creator Taylor Sheridan, is adding a podcast division. The new unit is called Highwire, and it will roll out an inaugural slate of four unscripted podcasts featuring talent the talent agency represents. Few details are being released but Elevate says the podcasts will include personalities from sports, business as well as film and television.

In a statement to Deadline, Elevate President Alex Cole noted the growth of the podcast industry. “It’s certainly no secret that podcasts, both scripted and unscripted, have become great outlets for talent to reach their fan base,” he said. “The podcast industry is generating a considerable amount of revenue while also being a forum for topics that matter.”

Elevate has built recording facilities inside its Los Angeles offices to record both audio and video versions of its podcasts. Cole told Deadline they plan to produce “a very diverse slate” of unscripted podcasts, with the first shows expected to debut later this year. He said they will expand into scripted series next year.

Cole founded Elevate Entertainment in 2009 following a decade of working in representation and production. Based in the U.K., he has brought on clients from across the globe and represents an array of talent. Its foray into producing podcasts is an extension of early production work Elevate has done with a slate of film and television projects.
