Global Consumer Media Usage Trends.


Overall consumer use of media worldwide is forecast to grow by 2.3% year-over-year this year to 57.5 hours per week, resuming an uptick in use after just a 0.3% rise last year to 56.2 hours per week. So says PQ Media in its Global Consumer Media Usage Forecast 2024-2028, noting that “media consumption is nearing PQ Media’s previously forecasted saturation point, as digital device penetration has almost peaked, and has begun posting declines in several major global markets, including the United States.”
