Entravision Expands AI Co-Hosted Show Across Five Markets.

Entravision is taking its AI-powered radio experiment to additional markets, expanding “GeeGee & Coyotec” across five stations on its Fuego Network after the show’s initial success in Los Angeles.

The bilingual program, which pairs on-air personality Geraldine “GeeGee” Guzman with Coyotec, an AI-generated radio co-host, is billed by Entravision as the industry's first human-AI Latino personality show on a bilingual radio format. The company says the program, which originates on Spanish adult hits “José 97.5 FM” KLYY in Los Angeles, has attracted audience growth, particularly among younger Hispanic men, prompting the broader rollout.

Beginning Aug. 3, the show is airing weekdays on Fuego-branded stations in Sacramento (KHHM/101.9), Las Vegas (KRRN/92.7), Modesto (KCVR/98.9), Palm Springs (KPST/103.5) and McAllen, TX (KKPS/99.5). To better match the Fuego Network's Latin Urban and Música Mexicana format, the expanded version incorporates more English-language conversation while maintaining a bilingual presentation designed to reflect how many younger Latino listeners naturally communicate.

Entravision President of Audio Eduardo Maytorena said the expansion demonstrates how AI can complement talent while creating scalable programming across multiple markets.

“GeeGee and Coyotec represent the future of multi-market audio—delivering authentic culture, seamless versatility and unmatched value for our brand partners,” he said.

The initiative is part of Entravision's broader strategy to blend artificial intelligence with live talent rather than replace it. The company says Coyotec was designed to serve as an “intelligent friend” capable of adapting to regional audiences while working alongside human hosts.

“Hearing GeeGee and Coyotec together in English has been one of the most exciting parts of this expansion,” said LeaAnna Hernandez, Entravision's Executive VP of AI Strategy. “Their chemistry shows how naturally AI can adapt when paired with great talent, and it's a powerful reminder that AI isn't limited to a single language, platform or audience.”

For Guzman, the move to the Fuego Network allows her to better reflect the bilingual communication style of many younger Hispanic listeners.

“So many of us grew up bouncing between English and Spanish without even thinking twice about it,” she said. “Getting to bring that same energy to Fuego feels like a blessing honestly, like I finally get to sound like the people who raised me.”

The expansion marks another step in the radio industry's experimentation with AI-generated personalities, with Entravision positioning the technology as a way to enhance localized programming while maintaining a human connection with listeners.
