Ellen K Signs New Long-Term Deal With KOST.

Ellen K has signed a new multi-year extension with iHeartMedia Los Angeles to continue as host of the “Ellen K Morning Show” on KOST (103.5).

The extension continues Ellen's more than two-decade run in Los Angeles morning radio, which began as a sidekick to Rick Dees and later included a co-hosting role with Ryan Seacrest, both at iHeartMedia CHR KIIS-FM (102.7).

In addition to her daily KOST show, Ellen hosts the nationally syndicated “Ellen K Weekend Show,” which is carried by 48 iHeartMedia stations, including WLTW New York, WLIT Chicago, KODA Houston and KDGE Dallas.

Ellen has also been nominated for the 2026 Marconi Award for Best Major Market Personality.

“Ellen has built one of the most successful and enduring morning shows in the country,” said Paul Corvino, Regional President of iHeartMedia. “Her remarkable ability to connect with listeners, combined with her infectious energy and unmistakable voice, has made her one of LA’s most beloved personalities.”

The extension comes as Ellen continues to expand her work beyond the daily morning show. She co-hosts the iHeartPodcast “Therapy Thursday” with licensed therapist Sara Dash and “Ellen K Morning Show” co-host Ryan Manno. The podcast expands on the show's weekly segment, focusing on relationships, personal challenges and everyday life.

“Our connection with listeners is stronger than ever, from the morning show to the weekend show and our new ‘Therapy Thursday’ podcast, I’m incredibly proud of everything we’ve built together through hard work and creative content but most importantly always finding the positive in whatever situation arises,” she said. “I am very excited to see what’s next and to be part of the iHeart family for years to come.”

Ellen is a Radio Hall of Fame inductee and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her television and entertainment work includes hosting Hollywood Handprint Ceremonies at the TCL Chinese Theatre and serving as a voice for major awards shows, including the Grammy Awards, Academy Awards, Emmy Awards and iHeartRadio Music Awards.

She has also served as the TV sidekick to Wayne Brady on his Emmy Award-winning daytime talk show. She is currently the voice of the upcoming iHeartRadio Music Festival on Disney+ and Hulu.

Outside of broadcasting, Ellen serves on the boards of Children's Hospital Los Angeles and Loyola High School of Los Angeles. Her philanthropic work with KOST has helped raise more than $4 million for Children's Hospital Los Angeles through the station's Giving Tuesday campaign.
